Fitting tips

The overhanging heels on the shoe should be approx 1-2cm outside of the plumb-line from the coronary border in the heels.

For best application results of the Dallmer Heel Extensions the Vettec SuperFast glue is now recommended as it sets hard enough to hold the cuff within 30 seconds and fully hardened within 2-3 minutes keeping the fitting time to minimum.

Important!

**Rapid horn growth in young foals means the cuffs should not remain glued to the hoof for longer than 3 weeks as this could cause the feet to become contracted.**
