Dallmer Foal Extension foal cuff/shoe’s have been designed to help correct axial limp malformation in the lower limbs. The enlarged sole platform of the cuff supports the foal‘s leg making sure the weight-bearing region of the sole is displaced, allowing the hoof to adjust to a new centre of gravity and aid correction.

Dallmer (EXT) Lateral/Medial Foal Extension Cuffs have an enlarged sole platform to support the foal‘s leg making sure the weight-bearing region of the sole is displaced, allowing the hoof to adjust to a new centre of gravity and aid correction.
The Cuffs can be easily adjusted to fit the hoof parameters and can be fixed in place using screws.
For best application results, Vettec Superfast glue is recommended as it sets hard enough to hold the cuff within 30 seconds and fully hardened within 2-3 minutes keeping the fitting time to minimum.
The Dallmer foal shoes provide a durable and reliable alternative to other methods of foal correction.
Designed with the input from Dr Ric Redden DVM, full instructions are included in the kit.
Important!
**Due to the rapid horn growth of a foal, the cuffs should not remain glued to the hoof for longer than 3 weeks.**
Size = Width at widest point in mm.
1 = 55mm – 70mm
2 = 70mm – 80mm
3 = 90mm – 100mm
