Equisoft First Aid Laminitis Support Pads.
The Equisoft First Aid laminitis support pads can used as an instant comfort solution for smaller horses and ponies with sore hooves after the onset of laminitis.
They can also be a great solution for horses and ponies with bruised soles as a sole support pad.
Designed as a first aid solution for vets, farriers and horse owners, these multipurpose pad’s are a cheap but vital asset in your first aid kit.
Fitting Guide.
- Place the hoof onto the rectangle pad.
- Use a marker pen to draw round the hoof, (slightly larger than needed).
- Cut out using scissors.
- For best results use in combination with EDSS/TFP Impression Material under the rear half of the foot as this will provide extra support to the frog aiding healing process by increasing the blood circulation in the Hoof.
- Remove adhesive backing paper from the cut out Equisoft Support Pad and place onto the hoof.
- Tape to the affected feet with the Styrofoam Black Tape, for a secure fit.
- Extra pads can be cut to shape and taped directly on top of the existing compressed pads if needed.
